Meet Summer Skye
Inland Northwest Photographer
Welcome y'all and thanks for joining me!
I've lived all across the country and taken many forms throughout my life, but photography has been a big part through it all. While I could go on about all the different hats I wear (mom, music therapist, children's book author/illustrator, mountain climber, former opera singer...). I'll keep things simple: I am a creative wanderer that has deep passion for artistry and humanity.
If you want to get a better sense of what working with me (as a photographer!) will look/feel like, check out my session pages and read through the FAQ list below.
Let's tell your story together!
FAQ
Where do you take photos?
I provide services in Coeur d'Alene, Spokane, Sandpoint, and surrounding cities. Most sessions are completed outdoors in public lands.
Do you do weddings?
I'll gladly do an elopement or microwedding (under 20 people)!
Do you use photoshop?
I limit retouching and signifiant editing; believing that even our perceived flaws are what make us all that more beautiful. We can work around sensitive areas, but overall I won't be doing much to alter you!
Who can I include in a family photoshoot?
The largest group size I'm currently photographing is around 8 people. You're welcome to include anyone you'd like: grandparents, aunts, besties, etc.
Can I bring pets along?
Yes, please! Let's just make sure they're well-behaved and we talk about it beforehand.
Will you pose us?
I prefer the 'prompts over poses' method, but can certainly give you some pointers to begin with. But one of my biggest prompts is often to "look at each other and not the camera!"
What's your cancellation policy?
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required for booking any session.
If the client or photographer cancel due to illness, scheduling conflict, or any other incident, the client has 90 days to reschedule. A second cancellation will result in termination of the contract and session.
Weather-related cancellations will also be rescheduled within 90 days. Unless there is extreme weather (smoke, wind, etc), the shoot will typically go on!
What's your stance on DEI?
I aim to be a safe space for all types of families, love, and people. Marginalized communities are welcome here.
